After the treatment

In general, shiatsu will give you more energy. However, for many people, this effect starts kicking in the day after. The hours directly after the treatment session, you may feel a bit drowsy and slow or floaty. This is only to be expected, considering the fact that your energy distribution has been shaken up and rebalanced. If possible, it is advisable to take a nap if you feel like it, and snuggle into bed early. Also, it is important to drink a lot of (warm) water after a treatment session, to drain any released toxins. And first and foremost: feel, try and be consciously aware of the changes in your body and mind, and perhaps write them down.
